Bentonite is a very old clay that has been used as a remedy for many things. The fine powder forms when volcanic ash ages. Bentonite clay contains natural minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and iron, which may provide additional benefits.

Bentonite, also known as Montmorillonite, can be used externally as a mud wrap, to make a hair mask or in skin care.

It remove impurities on the skin, such as oils, and toxins from the body.
It help reduce the look of blemishes and dark spots.

Bentonite is a clay generated frequently from the alteration of volcanic ash, consisting predominantly of smectite minerals, usually montmorillonite

Mix bentonite clay with water to make a thick paste. Apply to your face (avoid the eye area!). Leave the mask on until it hardens and rinse (do not leave on for more than 20 minutes). Use lots of warm water to splash and remove the mask from the skin. You can also use a damp face cloth if needed.
